At Turtle Pediatrics, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive telehealth evaluations for children and adolescents across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Led by Dr. Nallapati, a board-certified Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician, we specialize in supporting neurodivergent and differently-abled individuals from the comfort of their home.
Meet Dr. Nallapati: An Expert in Telehealth Developmental Pediatrics
Dr. Spandana Nallapati is double board-certified in developmental-behavioral pediatrics and general pediatrics. She sees children from 18 months to 22 years by video, in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
She completed her pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn and her fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson with Children’s Specialized Hospital, where she also completed the national Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program. Before opening Turtle Pediatrics, she was an attending physician at Children’s Specialized Hospital, Penn State and Apple Pediatrics. Turtle Pediatrics brings those ten years of experience into one practice.

- Support for Genetic Syndromes: Including Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.

Understanding the challenges parents face, Dr. Nallapati founded Turtle Pediatrics to offer convenient, high-quality telehealth services. Her background in New York and extensive work throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania gives her a deep understanding of varied regional needs, ensuring that families receive culturally competent and effective care, regardless of their specific location within these states.
Dr. Nallapati was born in India, grew up in New York City and has traveled widely. She also holds a certificate in software engineering from the Grace Hopper Program. In her free time, she and her husband sail, hike and scuba dive. The practice is named after their sailboat, S/V Turtle.
